Contentment

II can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Philippians 4:13

 

I find, perhaps for good reason combined with maturity, that I am content with my life. Although I still have goals and fears and sins to work on. I have my health, my family, a business that has recently scored a major milestone. I have lived poorly before and lived poor. I do not believe I will be poor again, especially considering I consider myself rich beyond imagination in Christ.

Limitations

It is possible, even necessary to have a definite opinion and still know you do not know the whole truth.

Renovacion

Today I framed most of a two by ten roof by myself on a 12 by 20 foot addition that I am working on. I am 53 years old and have been framing for 30 years. I love the smell of the spruce as it is cut and I love being outside building something big and permanent. But I am beat this evening.
